  • Six months in design developement led to the completed 333 Market Street Lobby and Hardscape Renovation by General Contractor Richlen Construction.

Prior to construction Richlen spent six (6) months in design development with a team of architects, engineers, and Shorenstein's construction group.

The result amounted to a breathtaking new 7,000 sq-ft lobby renovations, and 19,000 sq-ft., hardscape upgrade to 333 Market Street plaza. The lobby remodel consisted of a dramatically lit 30' tall by 40' Onyx wall that is inconspicuously set in a stainless steel structurally supported frame. The new high ceilings throughout the lobby reflect light off the strategically placed Italian Travertine stone from the ceilings accent lighting, adding additional brightness throughout the main entry leading to the elevators corridors.
Hardscape upgrades included: full demolition, new installation of granite stone pavers, stone planters, flag poles & bedding, new waterproofing and custom drainage system, as well as landscaping and irrigation, new mortar beds, stairs: stainless steel handrails and ADA wheel chair accessible ramps.
Challenged by the Holiday season’s extensive pedestrian traffic and aggressive schedule…Accessibility to the building entries and surrounding sidewalks were paramount to the success of lobby and hardscape project(s). To complete Richlen divided work into five (5) phases to allow access to the fully occupied 30-story building and direct foot traffic safety around the staging and construction zones.
